About Me

Hello!  Welcome to my little corner of the online world.  My name is Caroline.  Not Carolyn.  Not Carol-Anne.  Not Carolina.  CaroLINE.  Try finding a pencil or mug with that spelling {thanks Mum & Dad}.  I also go by Car, Liner, Caroleener + sometimes Lil Suga C {don't ask}.

I'm a single mama to two of the best kids a gal could ask for.  I'm Canadian + live in the 'burbs currently in the Red Brick House.  I've been a single mom for over 5 years & while it didn't feel like it at the time, I'm living my best life now on my own.

After my separation, I needed to find something that was just for "me". I took a local calligraphy class + haven't put down my pen since!  It turned into a full fledged side hustle quickly + I now work in all mediums...chalk, pointed pen, brush pen, watercolour + digital designs. I've had the pleasure of working on signage, envelopes, chalkboards + teach lettering classes both locally + across Ontario.

I'm inspired by all kinds of design...interior design, graphic design, textile design + so on.  I love being creative + having a small business that allows me to do so is heavenly!

I've kept journals forever + this used to be a family blog but became more about my business. I stepped away for a long time but have felt the pull to share again so here I am {lucky you!}

I can't promise that I'm here often but I hope that when you are here, you feel welcome + enjoy what you are reading.

RANDOM FACTS ABOUT ME:

• It skeeves me out to eat more than one food at a time...everything must go in seperately.
• I'm an office supply junkie...my favourite day is when the local office chain catalogue comes out
• My favourite colour is blue...all shades
• I adore hugs
• I got "lost" in New York City when I was 8 years old {I wasn't really lost but my parents thought I was!}
• I got "lost" in Myrtle Beach when I was 14 years old {I wasn't really lost but went for a walk on the beach with a boy!}
• I'm still contemplating getting a dog
• I'm addicted to Instagram + Facebook but have yet to feel the same love for Twitter
• I listen to music all the time + sing at the top of my lungs in the car + when I'm home alone
